so i wont forget So today we had an experiment in the Bio Lab. We had one yesterday too, with the visking tube testing for starch, glucose etc, you know the thing we learn in form 2 or 3? I was reluctant at the idea at first but it actually turned out pretty fun. Our group was the only group that got the colour right, the part when the solution in the visking tube turns dark blue? Every other group got gold. : ) ! Well today the idea of having another experiment got me all excited. Then I heard a few people mumble about testing on blood, if it was a isotonic, hypotonic, or a hypertonic solution. In the book said we had to use chicken blood. But then teacher started explaining how you had to use the alkaline swap before the needle etc. Yes WE had to PRICK ourselves so that we bleeddd. I guess we were all kinda petrified by the idea but honestly it was kinda cool. Supposingly only one person had to prick him/herself and drop a little blood onto four cover slids. My group were all girls fyi. About 5 of the 8 people in my group were so excited that we volunteered to prick ourselves. haha! Yeah it was pretty intense the idea of sticking that needle into your finger till it bled. But it was kinda nice knowing that you actually did it in high school. I pricked myself first and we all awed at the blood oozing out, Then Lyn, Su Li and Lillian. Salutes to Lyn! ( Who actually has some sort of fear for injections ) Pricked herself faster and without complain like Lillian or Su Li :P I tell you Lillian plays so much guitar she had to poke her finger so hard to get a teeny weeny drip of blood. We even snagged the needles and cover slids of our own blood :P Yeah, so I like Bio. : ) I cant wait for other experiments too. And when we get to mix chemicals with that white lab coat. Hahhhhhh. seven minutes to midnight  So the four of us had a barbeque. Initially I told my mom at least seven were coming. But as usual, they all break promises. Grumbles. Anyways, so as predicted, it was the usual, Lyn, Rach, and Kay. They overnight on Thursday, and if it weren’t for their plans they had on Saturday, they would have overnight on Friday too. This time we didn’t eat maggi. Because we had Campbell soup, ( okay its Vono ) with bread for supper. Slept at near five, and woke up at eleven to twelve, honestly I cant remember. After eating we fooled around a little, watched tv while doing a little homework, ( :D ) played a little with poker cards and that mahjong-like-tile-poker-cards, went to the park at the back of my house, barbequed, went to the park at the side of the curb infront of my house, laid around in my garden, and I guess that’s bout it. The holidays are ending pretty fast, when exams are just 12 days away. Including the march holidays, exams are two and a half weeks. Sighh.. Today I planned, just to re-watch just episode one and two of Heroes. I ended up watching till episode eight, each about 40 + minutes. Its soo addictive, but actually kinda gory, so it wouldn’t be such a good tv choice for those who cant stand violent killing blood splattering shows, and its abit of a thiller/horror unless of course Astro censors those parts which would be such a kill joy because well, that’s the part that makes you want more. Yes yes I know for those who are at episode 16 now would think im such a amateur or some sort, im sorry lah. Hmm maybe watching Heroes at night isn’t such a good idea after all.. The cookies in the octagon tin container with the undone red hearted ribbon taste so good, I kinda wish I get them more often. so, lets say..  My mom’s off to another family gathering. I tell you my family on my mom’s side are soo.. active :P My cousins and all will be there but im just not in a mood to play cards or any sort. So, I chose to stay home. The tv programs are back to normal. No more Chinese New Year programs, thank God. I like watching Chinese show, and those movies especially those comedical type? But you see the thing is, im banana. Although I might understand a little of what their saying I much rather subtitles, especially when they get into a fight or get overly excited and start talking 18734658 words per minute. Plus ! there’s American Idol today. Nyehh. I went Giant with mom today and sadly I wasn’t in a good mood from my very-often-tummy-cramps. I just wanted to finish grocery shopping fast and head home. We bought loaddds of stuff for the bbq, and I kinda think its probably more than we can eat but my mom says my friends are food disposals machine, which probably is true. Hahh. I hate it when you have an itch and you cant seem to find that spot to scratch. Its sooo irritating. The weather is abit weird lately, and forecast cant even predict the weather these days. I might some a tad bit over, but to me, it seems like the world wont last another century. With all the haze, tsunamis, hurricanes, flood, downpour, its so hard to estimate when its right to step out of the house. dont you ever wonder when exactly the world’s gonna collapse one day? There’s surely a start on how the world actually came about and where our ancestors actually poofed out from, and there’s definitely an ending. Sometimes im afraid of reading Revelations. it'll wait for you  Thts all I can take of being stuffed with food from family gatherings. Infact ive asked mom to tapao some food home. Gahhh. Heh :P Im going Giant tmr with mom. Its been long since I went to Giant with her since she goes on weekdays and I have school etc. Shes ever so generously planning the trip to Giant gleefully to shop for stuff for the upcoming BBQ :D Smiles grins smiles chuckles smiles ! But I have to miss basketball with friends Ohhhhhh well, many more days of basketball left :) Hehe. Yes I am planning a small bbq at my place using the reason of celebrating cny. Hahhh. But since when has that ever stop friends from sleeping over ? :D I dont know lah, since we slept over at SiewLee’s after pmr, its been a must tradition ( maybe monthly ) to hang around till the wee hours, sit at the kitchen table gobbling food, eating maggi mees, ( I tell you we are all going to be fat, ugly, dumb, and bald hags when we grow up ), and just talking and talking and talking till the next day when its time to wake up and eat lunch, watch tv, talk more, eat more ( maggi !! ), do rubbish and did I mention talk? The topic never dies. Ive been on a hike for new music lately cause im bored with all my old playlists collections and the genre im always listening to. Im so happy I found a new downloading program. I have about 9 hours worth of tv shows and movies waiting for me, and very little disk space left in my C drive. Ive been a real addict to American Idol. everything's gonna be alright Happy chinese new year ! Ive been busy going to my uncle’s or aunt’s houses, or them coming to mine. I love love love cny :) It’s the only time I can see ALL my cousins. Since their either working or studying overseas or, married with their own fam. My cousins and I played card games or those card mah-jong-like-tiles. And we made a rule that the losers had to drink a glass of water and we’re not allowed to go to the bathroom. We ended up re-filling the 2l jugs about 8 times when I finally gave up. I heard that people usually go to restaurants for gatherings, But mine is going to houses, which I find much more convenient. By the end of 3 days I was seriously contented with homecooks, packet drinks, and cny cookies. Im not sick of pineapple tarts though ! My dog was seriously tired though, entertaining people the whole day. My sis apparently was the target for the baby-sitting job. She had 3 hyper active boy toddlers running around, and fortunately one girl didnt manage to come. A new baby is born though. I’ll be the full time nanny for that particular one because, (did I mention?) He’s my god brother :) He’s just over a month of age. Technically, he’s my cousin’s son which makes me his aunt, But im definitely not letting him call me god ma. Hahh. Ohh and his dad bought me this seriously cute pendrive. Its based on the cny theme and small. Finally I have a pendrive. Ive been slacking in my homework and im really worried for Physics. Im still in the cny mood. Theres still cny events to be had. Maybe, I should start later. Heh.  Oh my sis went for a blood donation the other day and halfway through her veins were blocked so her arm was bruised real badly from internal blood clough. cause we're living in a world of love  Today feels like a Saturday. This week past pretty fast. Prolly with all that Valentine’s sensation going on everywhere, and with those gift wrappings, or maybe just for most of us who actually look forward to Chinese New Year. Im not going back to my hometown which is in Penang, which is my dad’s side of the family. I usually dont. I usually celebrate in Klang, or my relatives from Klang which is from my mom’s side come to my house. My sis is back ! She was scheduled to reach KLIA at 6 but because they had bad weather up in the skies it had to be delayed. So my mom,dad and i waited in the airport for about an hour. There were these girls in pink cheongsams giving out mandarin oranges and my bag had about 5 altogether by the time we got into the car. Ohh ! not forgetting I saw Soo Kui Jien in the air port ! If that doenst ring a bell, Jien is that guy on the oh-so-famous Disney Buzz. My all time favourite child hood program. He dont seem to age right? Anyway he was alone walking and I just stared at him with my eyes as big as a ping pong ball and my mouth touching the floor. Ha-ha But a swish of a slight thought came, that I should just run up to him, whip out my phone and start snapping photos with him. But thought is just a thought, he disappeared down the escalator. Sigh. After that my sis craved for pizza so we went to pyramid. Fyi, the pizza in Singapore are just the same price it is in Malaysia but NOT CONVERTED. Lets say a set for four cost RM45, it also cost 45 dollars in Singapore but in Singapore dollars, = $45. Anyway guess who I saw again in pyramid? Vic from Malaysian Idol season 1 :D Hehe. Low I think my computer is a little malfunction-al. Some weird warning notes keeps popping out and wont go away. Im getting into this show called Heroes on star world :D I was lucky enough to so happen watch the first episode and the second and the third. Its pretty weirdly mysterious and keeps you wanting to know more each coming episode. :D Oh my gosh yay I finally got a successful downloading program after trying a millionth time.. & after all Suprisingly I managed to not blog when coming online. Haha Anyway, here’s a quick re-cap of what I did for the last four days.  Kay and I impromptu-ly decided during training to have a surprise for Rachel the next day. We came up with all sorts of ideas and strategies like stealing her keys or pretending to go out. Its was really last minute and it didnt worked out as we planned so, sorry :P I stayed at Kay place till that 3 hour long add math tuition replacement. Yay no more class till after Chinese New Year ! Then Tuesday, which was the eve of Valentines. A few of us went over to Siew Lee’s place to help wrap the roses. Randomly sang songs high-picthly with background beats while screaming our lungs out with the bass blasting from the computer. Rosie, Curly, Wrappy, Tiey, Messagy, Foily. The whole place was filled with leaves and shoots. I had to go home because I had my lastest account tuition at my place. My mom said I could skip it but I was really unprepared for the next day of school. They managed to finish it in the end. Claps claps ! A total of 175 roses am I right? And more people actually wanted to ordered :P  Not forgetting the awesome cupcakes Bakey baked. I hope mine will last till my sis gets home this fri :) Oh did I mention? My sis will be back for 5 days for the Chinese New Year break this week. Im gonna bombard her with physics questions, And share that cupcakes with my fam, And open that Famous Amos cookie hamper that uncle gave, And share just a tiny weeny bit of the cookie box I got :D Just a little.. My dad’s buying my mom a new phone today for Valentine. Since she ter washed her phone in the washing machine. Nope not those super canggih phones. My mom cant handle super canggih features, she said. But she doesnt know it yet. And hah. How she was complaining jokingly how kedekut my dad was this Valentine just by giving her a peck. Hahahah. Happy Valentines to all :) ! To think the most precious thing, for now, wasnt measure by the size, the cost, the colour, but by whom and how :) a simple wish from the heart, with a squeeze from the palm, is all it needs to make my day. ah but i still wonder, to whom, when, how and why, if you really did have the time. Bridge over clear water  So this will be short. I miss watching Disney originals. I havent watch movies like Snow White or Sleeping Beauty for a long time. Or that cute little mini series or cartoons that has three jokers singing, ‘Mary Mary quite contrary, Where does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockle shells, And pretty maid all in a row’ :) Yay Disney has Pocahontas this Valentines ! Hope I dont miss it. Come to think of it, its such a sad romantic. The first one I mean. I dont like the second movie. I dont like most sequels either. It just loses the originality of the movie in the first place. Unless its shows like Lord Of The Rings or X-men :D But Cinderella two, Mulan two, Pocahontas two, Peter Pan two, Aladdin two. its just sooo not nice. Anyway, why did Pocahontas have to be with that John Rolfe. Grumbles I loveeeeeeeedd John Smith. They had awesome chemistry ! Sigh. I dont like Pocahontas 2. Okay so maybe they shouldt put Pocahontas as a Valentine movie anymore :P Maybe Lady and the Tramp? i loveeee Lady and the Tramp and The Aristole Cats ! I love Disney’s originals. The classic ones. this is the way Im feeling abit bored i just might go high, i was watching Star News Asia while eating, ( ha-ha ) and they actually have this competition of climbing 86 storeys. 86 ! lets say, 1 storey has 2 flights of stairs 172 flights of stairs ! thats like, climbing up to my class over 29 times.. gah, exams are in early march and how sad its after and before holidays, not only we have to study during chinese new year, but holidays. :( :( :( im trying my best to finish my homework in class so i can at least revise a little or do my add maths homework when i get home, to lighten my burden. but somehow i come around as being emo and anti-sosial : ive hear alot of comments too saying i have this harsh go-away-i-dont-wanna-talk expression. haha. sorry. not, and i repeat, notttt intentional. im just not that cheerful-jumpy-go-hi-hi-person. i dont bite :D ask Lillian. :D roarrr check out Wonderwall by Oasis; and Wonderful world by James Morisson. :)  (0)hit me! ; 3:43 PM

because we had a good day c:  As if I stared at multiple polka-dot dresses for 348638974 hours. I cant seem to focus on the words on the computer or my book without straining my eyes. I actually have a slight astigmatism, glasses werent necessary, but my parents said better prevent it from getting worse, so they got me glasses last year with super duper ultra low power. Just for astigmatism, im neither short-sighted or long-sighted. I just can go semi-blurred in vision at night. It got better since I wore it every night when I was studying everynight for PMR, after that it went back to normal and I abandon my glasses till 10inches of dust lay on my cover. Ah, but now, its the itchy, tingly as-if-you-first-time-wear-glasses feeling. Oh speaking of polka dot dresses we had our English oral today, our group was very very VERY spontaneous, I just got my ( short ) script today and thought I could nail it within one period, but I memorized Lyn’s lines instead of mine. i skipped a few lines but ahh, thank God it got to the point. Oh we were doing our oral based on our literature short story, The Necklace. So 4 groups were repeating the story again, and again, and again, and again. I kinda miss our after PMR, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde play. Heck I miss after PMR. Today the probates were lantik-ed. Ergh so unfair ! your probation period is only blardy 3 months ! Mine was a freaking 6 months ! pout pout pout. Peggy didnt come today cause she had MSSD, so I had to replace her for K.Kumpulan :| Such impromptu-ness. And tomorrow is assembly ! Ah ! im not bragging or anything, im just feeling a bit whoosy.. What if I order the group members and they think im bossy? What if they dont take me seriously and the other prefects think im not strict enough? What if I make a mistake and blow my chances? AH, Choi I know you’ll baca this sooner or later, forgive me lah okay if I make a mistake :P Like ringing the bell five minutes earlier today -_- # I dont know why ive grew a fond for blogging. we're different, your alike  Ah yes, Larian Mesra, or the old fashion way we use to call it, Larian Lebuh Raya. I remember joining in form one. Heck I forgot what no I got since I think I walked the whole journey. Hehe :D and I think I remember saying I wouldnt wanna run, - okay walk, ever again. Whistle blown, run run run. Continued running and aiyooooo why la must stop me so ngam when got traffic. Cissss, make me stop again. Another up hill, oh yes I regained enough strength to actually run up the hill ( nyeh Lyn :P ) but after that I was actually thankful that they stop me for the traffic again. Saw the fourth check point, past the lorong, saw the school when Nik actually said I was ninth, so I sprinted again and I got no.17. hahhhhh. So much for 6 places away ! cd My tummy’s feeling funny. Im trying to re call what I ate. Let’s see. The big fatty soggy fries in school with chili sauce, Nasi lemak my mom bought from a shop while she was in Klang since about 10am which I think smelled slightly basi but I ate anyway because I had 15 minutes for lunch before my piano class, Home cook food which surely could not cause my tummy to feel er, funny. Hmm.. Maybe it was the big fatty soggy fries, Maybe it was the chili sauce I dipped it in, Maybe it was that basi-smelling nasi lemak. Or maybe It was the pineapple juice Ivan bought :| My mom has allergies to pineapple, makes her tummy ache. I never did have allergies to pineapple, And im not having any sort of PMS symptoms either.
