Its quite ironic that it’s the year we study our butts off and the year we’re at our busiest.

Im already busy applying for scholarships,
(parent’s request in following my sister’s footsteps)
And she’s literary in Singapore as we speak,
For another Uni scholarship.
Fingers cross she’ll get it!

Im sorry,
I admit im not the smarter one.

Then again,
Comparing her results with mine,
My lower secondary results were better than her’s but worse than her upper secondary, where it really matters.
Sigh.

It feels like a big turn right.
Scholarships, college, uni, work.

And the truth is,
I hardly feel seventeen.

I think we’re alike the kids we see on tv,
The seventeen year olds,

I think we’re the same but different.

Well,
If you get what I mean.
