for she's a jolly good fellow!

Longggggggg post ahead.

BRATs part II

Residents of room 1412. ;)

Joye on left, May Khei on right.

SO,
First and foremost,
I was in group 3 which we called ourselves the HOOHAHs. (!!)

We were assign our own roles like
Editor, reporter, videographer, photographer etc.
I was the reporter initially,
But they insisted I become the photographer because they claim I take good pictures. (not self praising okay)
I really wanted to be reporter :(

So anyways, we were suppose to go to Penang Road to interview those street performers and we already had a pretty cool angle on what to do.
We were suppose to have a photo/audio slide show btw.

But lo and behold,

In rained.

:(

So my group was assign to go to Prangin Mall.
It felt like a Sungai Wang Plaza mix Berjaya Times Square.
We really didn’t find anything that caught our attention except this old man collecting rubbish and cardboards.
We thought it would have been an awesome story if we manage to interview him and get shots of him doing his um, job.
Well, obviously it wasn’t as easy as it sounds.
He scolded us in Chinese and if im not wrong he said we were wasting his time.

Fortunate enough we were lucky that this big charity thing was going on.
So yes!
We were saved.

It was a charity program to raise money for mentally retarded children as well as the earthquake victims from China.
They were super sweet and probably the most selfless people.

These ladies were really cute.
When i mention i was from the Star and asked if i could take a picture they went;
'THE STAR THE STAR!'
and they started posing while that old man continued keenly into his job.

He was our main focus because he was 77 years of age and still help out in this charity without expecting any sort of benefit in return.
He made these grasshoppers for the children.

Even this lady who was crippled didnt stop her from lending a hand

After that we headed back to the hotel and into our hall.
There the work began for the video editors.
Rebekah was our sub-editor but being the only one knowing how to use the program she had to do the editing.
Without complain somemore.
Hughughug!
:D

I couldn’t help much except giving opinions.
So while they were editing the photos,
A handful of us went to mingle with the seniors.
I tell you the seniors are full of random games, jokes and humor !

Well, we started taking pictures because the seniors were daring each other with "who can take more pictures with the junior" .
hilarious lah they all.
there were 4 seniors.
one for each group.

Diyana !
my group's senior and my tv show partner. :D
she's only 18 btw.

Gan!
who is only my age and claims i look like her add maths tutor.
ahahah.

Miu Kee also known as Miux who is 21.
and Gan's hand i think.

SADLY,
i dont have a picture with Muzani.
He's another senior and the only person i know that studied closest to my school.
SU or SJ im not sure.
He's 18 though and we both know Lim Bee Lan!
ahhahah.
i believe every BRAT thinks Muzani is (insert word)
bahaha.

the halls

okay im not going to go in detail about our second outdoor assignment yet.
group 3 had a chance to board the ferry to butterworth and meet the captain.
we were suppose to make a video and write two articles.
which you might or might not read in the papers this Sunday.
haha.
i'll probably elaborate bout it later.
this post is getting too long already.
